Aims and scope
The International Journal of Factory Automation, Robotics and Soft Computing is a new quarterly journal whose focus is to present original results of lasting significance in the field of control systems, robotics, automation and soft computing.
The main goal of the journal is to follow ISI criteria and guidelines for the ISI Journal evaluation process, for a future submission to the http://scientific.thomson.com/forms/isi/journalsubmission. Each paper submitted is subject to a peer review procedure, and the publication decision is based on reviewers' comments. The journal will publish original papers on the following topics:
Control Systems: systems theory, optimal control, intelligent control, system identification, adaptive and predictive control, robust control, linear systems, non-linear systems, intelligent systems, fuzzy logic controllers, neural networks, genetic algorithms, multi-dimensional and infinite dimensional systems, modeling and simulation, soft computing models and applications, decision support systems, control engineering, hierarchical control systems, aerospace systems, stochastic systems.
Robotics: mobile robots models and simulations, optimal control, trajectory planning, cooperative robots, intelligent robots, industrial robots.
Automation: process automation, factory automation, laboratory automation, manufacturing systems, information technology applications, robotics and automation systems, mechatronics systems, components and devices.
Soft Computing: artificial neural network theory, fuzzy and expert systems theory, evolutionary and genetic algorithms theory, artificial neural network systems and applications, fuzzy logic applications, expert systems, evolutionary and genetic algorithms applications.
