This monograph is aimed at developing tracking control strategies for constrained systems, especially with nonholonomic constraints. It presents a new architecture of a tracking strategy that enables tracking any desired motion provided that it is specified by a constraint equation, referred to as a programmed constraint equation. This tracking strategy is capable of including both force and motion tracking controllers.
