What is an e-conference?
An e-conference is a moderated discussion conducted via the Internet using a website. The conference participants need only a connection to the internet. It is not a videoconference.
The Internationalsar staff will create a web page for each manuscript accepted (after a review process) with the abstract of the paper and the full text version in PDF format. The first author of the paper has the possibility to add other files in his web page, i.e. Powerpoint presentations and his/her brief personal biography. During the e-conference the participants may read papers presented and may send questions and reply to questions. The e-conference process is very user-friendly and it is fast and stable even on low Internet connection speeds.
The General Chairman of the e-conference monitors the discussion, makes sure it stays lively and stimulates discussion, as necessary, by inviting authors to contribute and participate.
